In March 2023, I had a spur of inspiration and spent a week writing a short story. I hadn't done any creative writing since high school, but things kinda fell into place and I spent all my free time for a few days making a story called "sunset pictures." The pitch is that it's a story that's about online frienships and how they are shaped by the software they live on. I think the cool part about it is that it's told in the form of real time chat logs, which is a format I think rules and want to see more of.
The reason I'm "rereleasing" is just that I just want it to be on this neocities. The only reason it's taken so long is because I thought it was going to be annoying to set it up but then it was literally just uploading a file, woops.
I don't really want some kind of big retrospective on what I wrote, mostly because I don't think I have too much interesting to say. I have some thoughts and critiques but in the end I'm proud of what I wrote and I hope that shows. It means a lot to me when people read it, so if you do I'd love to hear your thoughts if you do.
