I'm wubbiq and I like things like video games, sports, and music. I also care about more important stuff but I dunno how often those will come up here.
What
I'm still figuring it out but I think this blog will be a mix of slighly formal writing about my interests, and maybe some small musings otherwise. I can't promise I'm particularly insightful or smart but I'm working on it.

Why
Okay, this is maybe the only important part of this page. I wanted to make this blog for a few reasons.
- I realized I really miss writing things that are more than a series of tweets. Other than one short story I wrote (I will see if I can get that working on this site), I haven't written anything long form publicly since 2013
- I have a lot of jumbled thoughts about something and I think writing about them will help me force me to figure out my thoughts
- I considered making video essays but that seems like too much work (but maybe some day)
- I have become nostalgic for the old internet
- I want to get better at writing in the age of forced gen AI hype
- I really like the writing I see from the Aftermath folks
When
I don't know if I have enough things I want to talk about to promise that this updates with any amount of regularity, we'll see though.
